You can’t out give the Lord. Period. Let me give you some proof of that.
Last Sunday, Aug. 31st , some family friends came over to tell us that the local Albertsons grocery store was going out of business and was having a liquidation sale. Knowing this, my mom and I had gone there a week prior and didn’t see any good bargains so we left disappointed. But now, they said, everything was marked down 70. 80 and even 90%!
Not thinking too much about it (because of our previous experience), we went back to what we were doing. Then next morning, we got a phone call from our same friend stating that she had gotten to the store an hour before the store’s opening. She was overjoyed by the amount of quality stuff for extremely low prices!
Her excitement was contagious! So my mom soon left to see what was happening. Well, lets say I didn’t hear from her for a few hours. But when I did, she was coming through the door with tons of food–and savings! Actually $387 in savings!
One of our friends wasn’t able to make it to work that day so we called her and she too was blessed.
The amount of savings that the Lord showed to our second friend easily covered her missed day of work and my family’s constant giving to those in need.
So, remember, it doesn’t matter what you see in front of you; you can’t out give God! Period.
